When trying to locate legitimate ways to make money online I quickly learned its pretty much a chore in itself. My goal is to reach payout at as many sites as possible so that I can share my experiences with you, as well as provide information, help, and hints. What I have learned so far is that you probably won't be able to quit your day job for these online sites unless you are extremely gifted. They take an extreme amount of time and you usually work for pennies at a time. The best ways to earn, as I'm told, are usually through blogs, ads, and other writing sites that pay for page hits. I hope to provide some insight on these sites as well as hear feedback from my viewers.

My first payout was really exciting, and when you don't even know if the site will actually payout, its even more exciting. I was kind of put off by the site when I first saw it because it looked a little cheesy. Reaching payout on this site was not easy it was very difficult but some aspects of it were very fun. Allow me to touch on the good and bad.

The Good:

• Options to do surveys or fill out free or payed offers as well as 'cash back shopping'
  
• There is a forum where members offer tips which helped me get better approval rates
• Trading hut - When you win rewards for playing games you have an option of either buying referrals, claiming prizes, or adding to your cash.
• Clear and Easy site to navigate, which for me is a huge plus.
• People out side of the United States may join
• Pre-made banners for easy advertising
• 3 daily surveys which potentially could earn you $75 a month if done daily
  
• Plenty of offers so you'll basically never run out of stuff to fill out
• 2 tiers of referrals the 1st tier referral can earn you 20% and the second 5% and you keep them for life.
  
• Constantly they have prize giveaways and contests with very active members
• They offer payouts on either paypal or a mailed check (check only available to U.S citizens)
  

The Bad:

• A lot of offers filled out will stay in pending and may not be approved. Odds are you will fill out 40 free offers and only get payed for 10. The reason is, is that some are still the same site as I have learned.
  
• The forum has many rules and its easy to forget them sometimes.
• Getting approved for surveys has a very low approval rate, and for people outside of the U.S, it has an even lower approval rate.
• Filling out surveys and offers is a very time consuming project and unless this is your only job, you may take longer than some to reach payout. A min of 1-3 hours a day to fill out offers/surveys should be anticipated.
• The ads that are pre-made are a little rough around the edges.
• The minimum payment is a bit high as far as payouts go it is $20, however if you do all 3 daily surveys for 2 weeks you'll reach payout each month.

.:: About Mylot

Mylot is a social network much like facebook or myspace. The appeal to me is that one doesn't get payed for much more other than simply using their site. The upsides can also be its downsides however. To earn money users post in the forums and either start or respond to discussions. Like any other pay site this one can be difficult to earn on, if your responses are short and sweet. Though I haven't reached payout yet, I plan on meeting a $20 payout by the end of the month. I devote some free time and most of my weekends talking on this site at the moment, but some days I skip out on my duties so we will see where it goes from here. I have gotten up to $2.67 on my 3rd day which is pretty good considering.

The way the payment scheme works is a mystery and talking about earnings on mylot is forbidden however they do provide some useful tips on how to make the most of mylot in their FAQ page. Its also useful to read so that you don't get flagged for breaking one of their many rules in mylot.

Though it can be time consuming to earn on, and probably not another site you can quit your job for, it is a very fun way to earn extra money for the month! So far I have no complaints about mylot.
